BJP To Contest UP Assembly Elections In Alliance With NDA Parties
The BJP unit in Uttar Pradesh is all set to contest, UP Assembly elections 2022. On January 19, National President JP Nadda announced NDA alliance between the Apna Dal and Nishad Party, similar to 2019 elections. The details of the alliance was held in the last few days, during a meeting, said JP Nadda during a press conference. Notably, UP elections are being held in seven phases, from February 10.

SC Solicits Centre's Reply On Exclusion Of Women From NDA, INA
The Centre has been asked by the Supreme Court to file a reply on a petition which stated about the denial of opportunities to women in the National Defence Academy and the Indian Naval Academy. The court issued the notice in this regard on March 10. The petition highlighted the Centre's lax behavior in adhering to the landmark order in Babita Puniya case which extended Permanent Commission to women in the Armed forces.

Bihar: Nitish Kumar To Take Charge As CM For Fourth Consecutive Term
Incumbent Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is expected to take charge for his fourth consecutive term in office on November 16. The JD(U) leader was unanimously elected to lead the state after the meeting of NDA legislators. Bihar Elections: CM, Portfolios Likely To Be Decided After Top Leaders Meet
The BJP's central command is brainstorming for the formation of new Bihar Cabinet and allocation of portfolios. Reportedly, the BJP leaders will meet in Delhi in this regard, following which discussions will be held with Nitish Kumar.
