Manipur Violence Continues, Internet Suspended For Next 5 Days
Amid the ongoing violence and protests in Manipur, the ruling government and police suspended internet services for the next five days. In addition, approximately 40,000 police personnel were deployed in the northeastern state, to control the situation, which is said to be out of hand for the ruling BJP. The violence started with a protest of tribals of Manipur against the non-tribals, demanding Meiteis, demanding ST status.

Non-Tribal Calls For Bandh On March 6 Amid Language Row: Jharkhand
Non-tribal organizations led by Bhojpuri Magahi Maithili Angika Manch (BMMAM) announced Jharkhand Bandh, on March 6.
