Stay Order On Bulldozer Action In Violence Hit Nuh Region: Haryana

The Punjab and Haryana High Court on August 7, stayed the Haryana government's bulldozer action in Nuh. Over 150 shanties and other establishments such as shops and chemist shops were demolished in the demolition drive which was in its fourth day. The Haryana government had also ordered bulldozer action against a restaurant-hotel and tiles showroom which were allegedly used to pelt stones during the violence on July 31.

Haryana CM Says, Rajasthan Police Free To Act Against Hindu Group Leader Monu Manesar

Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar on August 2, said the Rajasthan Police is free to act against Bajrang Dal's Monu Manesar, with the support of Haryana Government. The statement from the CM comes as tension prevails in the state after six people, including two home guards and a cleric, were killed in the clashes that erupted in Nuh district, Haryana. The clashes started over a religious procession of Hindu Lord Vishnu.

Nuh District Violence: 44 FIRs Registered, 80 Arrested Amid Violence

Nuh Communal Clash Intensifies After Violence

The ripples from yesterday's 18-hour communal clash in Haryana's Nuh -- which claimed five lives and left at least 70 people injured -- has reached Badshahpur, 40 km away. Restaurants and shops were vandalised and torched by a mob this evening amid religious chants. Eyewitnesses said a mob of around 200 had entered the area around 4 pm, armed with sticks and stones.

Haryana Violence, Communal Clash Kills 4 People. Leaves 30 Injured

Haryana violence erupted due to communal clash intensified, leading to the death of four people and leaving as many as thirty people injured.
