The highly-anticipated finale of Stranger Things 4 Vol 2 was released on Netflix on July 1. Netflix collapsed, much to the dismay of the hundreds of devoted fans of Stranger Things who were eagerly awaiting the premiere with baited anticipation. Many people who use social media expressed their disappointment and wrath on Twitter. Some people even criticized the massive OTT.

The sequel to 'Who's the Boss?' will be available shortly on Amazon's Freevee streaming service. The original series' stars, Alyssa Milano and Tony Danza are slated to return to their roles. The new version will concentrate on Samantha Micelli, a single mother played by Milano. There is no word on whether Judith Light and Danny Pintauro will reprise their roles; another original cast member, Katherine Helmond, died in 2019. 

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat expressed his concern saying uncontrolled content on OTT platforms could affect the country at the Vijayadashami event in Maharashtra's Nagpur. “After the outbreak of the pandemic, nearly every child has a mobile phone and what they watch on their cellphones is not controlled,” he said. He further said parents must protect their children instead of relying on the government to take action.

ZEE5 has been launched in the United States providing South Asian content. Priyanka Chopra-Jonas along with the Senior Business Officer Archana Anand unveiled their global brand campaign of highlighting stories from South Asia called "Welcome to South Asia: Stories from our world". Besides, the American audiences now have the access to the largest selection of South Asian and Indian content in the world. 

The trailer for a new anthology series ‘Ray’ by Netflix released on June 8. Featuring Manoj Bajpayee, Kay Kay Menon the series stars stellar talent of Gajraj Rao, Ali Fazal, Shweta Basu Prasad, Anindita Bose among others. Based on the writing of critically acclaimed filmmaker Satyajit Ray, the Netflix original is directed by Abhishek Chaubey, Srijit Mukherji and Vasan Bala. The multi-starrer web series will release on June 25.
