WHO Halts Booster Dose Program In High-Income Nations
WHO Chief Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has asked high-income nations to stall their booster doses as under-performing nations are facing vaccine supply shortages. "We cannot accept countries that have already used most of the global supply of vaccines using even more of it," he said. Besides, Germany and Israel have announced their plans for a third dose. Meanwhile, Haiti and Congo are struggling with the two-dose administration.
