TMC Leader Abhishek Banerjee Protested At Rajghat, Demands Funds For WB
Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee along with party workers and leaders sat on a dharna at the Rajghat here on Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary on Monday demanding the release of funds for West Bengal by the Centre. The Lok Sabha MP, accompanied by hundreds of men and women from the party including MPs, MLAs and ministers who had arrived from West Bengal to take part in the protest.

PM Modi Pays Floral Tribute To Mahatma Gandhi At Rajghat
Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 74th death anniversary at Rajghat on January 30. Taking to Twitter PM wrote, "It is our collective endeavor to further popularize his noble ideals." Every year on January 30, India also observes Martyrs' Day. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi, M Venkaiah Naidu and others also made their tribute to Gandhi, who was assassinated by Nathuram Godse on January 20, 1948.
