Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has tested positive for the COVID 19 on April 21. The 61-year-old minister took to Twitter to share that he is currently undergoing treatment as per his doctor's advice. Moreover, he urged people who came in contact with him recently to get tested. Nishank also ensured that the education ministry will continue to function smoothly while adhering to COVID norms.

NTA Defers JEE Mains Exam; New Dates To Be Announced Later
The National Testing Agency has postponed the JEE-Mains which was earlier scheduled from April 27 to 30. CBSE Board Exam 2021: Cancels Class X Exam And Postpones Grade XII
Cancelling the grade X board exams, CBSE, on April 14 postponed class XII examinations. After a meeting with PM Narendra Modi, the education ministry stated that class X students will be promoted based on the objective criteria, yet to be decided. Ministry also provisioned an extra opportunity for students to later sit for exam if dissatisfied. The officials will announce Class XII exam dates after reviewing the COVID conditions.

Around 50% Reserved Faculty Seats Are Vacant, Reveals HRD Ministry
