Maharastra Woman Prevents ATM Robbery; Locks Shutter From Outside
Maharastra police has arrested Salim Mansoori, a resident of Mumbai's Borivali for an attempt to rob Rs 10 Lakhs from an ATM kiosk in Palghar's Vasai area. Reportedly, a 45-year-old woman locked the ATM's Shutter from outside after she heard strange noise from the kiosk at around 2:30 AM. The woman has been identified as Sukanya Pawar, she was on her way to relative's house to offer condolences on somebody's death in the family.

MAHA: Palghar Police Nabs Three People For Absconding With Rs 4.25 Crore
Maharashtra's Palghar police have arrested three people including a cash van driver for absconding with Rs 4.25 crore. The accused has been identified as Rohit Aaru, Akshay Prabhakar Mohtay and Chandrakant Gulab Gaikwad. However, the DCP Sanjay Patil of Vasai Vihar said that an amount of Rs 2.33 Crore was recovered from the van which was left unclaimed, while Rs 1.88 Crore was retrieved after the arrest.

Man Shoots 52-year-old in Delhi for Resisting Robbery
Two unidentified men on motorcycle shot a 52-year-old man in his stomach for resisting a robbery on September 23. According to the police, the victim identified as Manish, was returning home with his brother on the Shahdara flyover when the accused tried to snatch the bag from him and shot him upon resisting the theft. He is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Patparganj while the search for the accused is on.

UP: Robbers Follow COVID-19 Norms Before Looting Jewellery Shop
Robbers in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh district followed COVID-19 safety norms before looting a jewellery shop in broad daylight. The incident was caught by the CCTV camera installed in the shop. It showed two masked men entering the shop and using hand sanitizer before taking out their guns. Reportedly, the shop owner claimed that valuables worth Rs.40 lakh have been stolen.

Suresh Raina's Uncle Murdered in Punjab; 4 Family Members Sustain Injuries
Ashok Kumar, a government contractor and Cricketer Suresh Raina's uncle, was reportedly attacked and killed at his house in Thariyal village in Pathankot, Punjab. The attackers identified as members of "Kale Kachhewala" gang, charged into Kumar's house with the intention to loot, also leaving family members injured. Earlier, Chennai Super Kings had announced Raina's exit from current IPL season, citing personal family problems.

Delhi: Criminal With A Record Of 100 Cases Arrested By The Delhi Police
A criminal who had a record of 100 cases and a constable from Uttar Pradesh has been arrested by Delhi police after a robbery complaint was registered on August 17. The victim claimed, he was seated in his car when the planned robbery was executed. Police informed, "the main accused Khosla, usually targeted passengers in Rajdhani and Shatabadi expresses stealing items having value more than Rs 1 lakh in each journey."

Xiaomi Smartphones Worth Rs 2 Crore Ransacked from Lorry
Xiaomi Smartphones were looted from a lorry in Chittoor, near the Tamil Nadu - Andhra Pradesh border on August 25. The lorry was carrying the phones to Mumbai before the driver was assaulted and taken to an isolated place where the theft happened. Ghaziabad: Police Nabs Man for Series of Murders, Extortion and Robbery
Rajender aka Harender Kharkhari was arrested on August 20 for his role in multiple criminal cases of robbery, extortion and murder. The 30-year-old was apprehended at 9 pm from Delhi’s Sunder Nagri area. According to the police, a pistol and three live cartridges were seized from him. The accused was earlier declared as a "Proclaimed Offender" (PO) by a court. His criminal history states his first killing was in 2012.

Delhi: ‘Thak-Thak’ Gang Member Arrested, Police Recover Rs 5.88 Lakh Stolen Money
Delhi police have arrested Kishan- the accused, of stealing Rs 5.88 Lakh from a cash collector, Satish Chand in Bindapur. Kishan turned out to be a member of ‘Thak-Thak’ gang, which distracts people and robs them. According to the police, the incident took place when Chand had been to washroom. Upon his return, his bag of cash went missing. Reportedly, the police have recovered cash and seized two motorcycles.
