Renowned Kannada singer Shivamogga Subbanna passed suddenly on August 11 night after suffering a heart attack at a local hospital in Karnataka. In Bihar's Patna, a professional singer (28) was gang-raped by three accused, identified as Pintu Kumar, Karu Kumar, and Sanjiv Kumar, confirmed police on May 7. Notably, the victim, who performs on functions was booked for an event, but when she reached the venue, the accused allegedly raped her. Somehow she escaped and registered a complaint with the police, who booked the accused under IPC sections and arrested them.
