Few Sai Baba devotees have filed a complaint against the "removal" of his idol in South Delhi's Shahpur Jat temple. The devotees have said that their sentiments were hurt. While the temple committee claimed that they replaced the idol with that of Lord Ganesha, locals citing a viral video alleged that a man gave anti-faith remarks when the idol was removed.  Meanwhile, police said they were "inquiring into the matter".

Hearing the Hindu temple vandalisation case, the Pakistan Supreme Court has directed the authorities to restore the Shri Paramhansji Maharaj’s Samadhi and the Krishna Dwara Mandir.  The Court ordered the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province government to complete the restoration in two weeks. After adhering to COVID-19 precautionary protocols, Mathura's Banke Bihari temple re-opened on October 25 for the devotees. Police have been deployed in the temple to ensure the devotees adhering to the regulations. The temple which was shut on March 22 due to the pandemic, was reopened on October 15 assenting the court's order. However, the temple manager shut it again on October 19 as were unable to control the crowd.

Stating that his government practices religious tolerance, Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao announced that the new secretariat complex will have a temple, two mosques, and a church. He said that the foundation stones for all of these will be laid soon after the end of the ensuing legislative session. He also called it as a symbol of "Ganga Jamuna Tehjeeb". The old secretariat in Telangana was brought down in July.
