FIR Filed Against Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati In Delhi, After A Video Went Viral Of Him Insulting The Prophet

A group of people from Delhi and the nearby areas has filed an FIR against Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati, accusing him of stirring violence and spreading hate against Muslims, on April 9. This is attributed to a video that went viral in which Narsinghanand made defamatory remarks about Prophet Muhammad. Up until recently, a viral WhatsApp message went around warning people about his intention to incite violence.

Devotees Of Sai Baba File Complaint After Idol Removed In Delhi Temple

Few Sai Baba devotees have filed a complaint against the "removal" of his idol in South Delhi's Shahpur Jat temple. The devotees have said that their sentiments were hurt. While the temple committee claimed that they replaced the idol with that of Lord Ganesha, locals citing a viral video alleged that a man gave anti-faith remarks when the idol was removed.  Meanwhile, police said they were "inquiring into the matter".

Pakistan SC Ask Govt To Restore Vandalised Temples In 2 Weeks

The temple authorities said that the local people would be allowed from January 3 and the outsiders can visit from January 6. Besides, the temple would remain closed on January 1 and January 2 to avoid the rush. Meanwhile, a COVID-negative report is mandatory to visit the temple.

UP: Banke Bihari Temple in Mathura Reopened for Devotees 

After adhering to COVID-19 precautionary protocols, Mathura's Banke Bihari temple re-opened on October 25 for the devotees. Police have been deployed in the temple to ensure the devotees adhering to the regulations. The temple which was shut on March 22 due to the pandemic, was reopened on October 15 assenting the court's order. However, the temple manager shut it again on October 19 as were unable to control the crowd.

Telangana to Get a New Secretariat With Temple, Mosque, Church

Stating that his government practices religious tolerance, Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao announced that the new secretariat complex will have a temple, two mosques, and a church. He said that the foundation stones for all of these will be laid soon after the end of the ensuing legislative session. He also called it as a symbol of "Ganga Jamuna Tehjeeb". The old secretariat in Telangana was brought down in July.
