Jammu & Kashmir Police Kills 2 Terrorists Affiliated With AGUH In Encounter
The Jammu and Kashmir police killed two terrorists identified as Aijaaz Rasool Nazar and Shahid Ahmad in an encounter in the Nowgam region of Srinagar, on September 14 night. The terrorists were said to be affiliated with an outfit Ansar-Ghazwat-ul-Hind and were alleged of killing several migrants in the region. The updates were confirmed by the security forces, which launched a joint operation after receiving inputs from terrorists.

Jammu & Kashmir: Pak Intruder Shot At Near LoC in Nowshera
In Jammu and Kashmir's Nowshera sector, an intruder Tabrak Hussain was shot, while he was trying to come near the LoC. on August 22, the Union Territory police confirmed the update and said, the intruder was shot at and was injured. Uttar Pradesh ATS Arrests 1 With Alleged Links With JeM
The Uttar Pradesh ATS has arrested Saifullah, who is allegedly have links with Jaish-e-Mohammad, a terrorist outfit, confirmed police on August 14. Arrest of Saifullah was based on a tip off provided by Mohammad Nadeem, who is under ATS custody since August 12. Expertise in making fake virtual IDs for Pakistan, and Afghanistan, operating in Uttar Pradesh. A case has been registered and Saifullah is being investigated.

Special Task Force Identify & Recover IED In Haryana; 1 Arrested
In Harayana,Special Task Force (STF) officials identified and recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) on August 4. Reportedly, the IED was found on the Shahabad-Ambala highway, as it was placed in a polythene bag under a tree. The STD officials arrested one accused from Tarn Taran, and sent him to the custody of Shahabad police. Further details on the matter is awaited.

Terrorist Yasin Malik Returns To Tihar Jail After Being Hospitalized During Hunger Strike
Terrorist Yasin Malik returned to Tihar Jail on July 29 after being taken to RML hospital in Delhi due to blood pressure fluctuation. He has declined to eat anything and is still receiving IV fluids. On July 22, the 56-year-old went on an indefinite hunger strike after Centre failed to reply to his request that he be permitted to physically appear in Jammu court hearing the Rubaiya Sayeed kidnapping case.

Srinagar Attack: CCTV Footages Inspected To Identify Attackers
In J&K's Srinagar, investigation is underway for the attack of three-member patrol in Lalbazar, on July 13. The attack which took place near a school, killed an officer and left two others injured. Reportedly, the investigators are using the CCTV footages to identify the accused. Furthermore, Former CMs Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti were among those who condemned the attack.

Villagers Apprehend 2 Most Wanted LeT Terrorists & Hand Them Over To Police: J&K
In J&K's Reasi district, two most wanted LeT terrorists were apprehended by villagers, and handed over to the police. The incident occurred in Tukson Dhok village, where Talib Hussain and Faisal Ahmad Dar were hiding from the Army and police. Two AK rifles, seven grenades and a pistol was seized from them. Applauding the bravery of the villagers, J&K lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh.

Two Terrorists Neutralised In J&K's Kulgam Encounter
In an encounter in J&K's Kulgam, security forces eliminated two terrorists, on June 27. The encounter broke out in Nowpora-Kherpora, Trubji area. Further details on the matter is awaited. Earlier in the day, a terrorist was arrested in J&K's Doda, from whom, one Chinese pistol, two magazines, 14 live cartridges and one mobile phone was recovered. So far in 2022, 118 terrorists been neutralised in the Kashmir valley.
