Mumbai Court Extends Police Remand Of RPF In Shooting Incident
Mumbai Court on August 11, extended the police remand of Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable Chetan Singh till August 7 for allegedly shooting dead his colleague and three other passengers in train on July 31. The Government Railway Police (GRP) added Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 153-A, for promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion in the case against the accused. The hearing is on August 11.

Kerala Train Incident Accused Arrested By Police, Investigation Underway
Arrested accused in the Kerala train fire incident is identified as Shahrukh Saifi. The 30-year-old who burnt his co-passengers in a moving train, which killed three and left eight injured is a carpenter by profession. He is a resident of Delhi's Shaheen Bagh and was missing from his house on March 31. Furthermore, the Kerala Police questioned Saifi's parents, who said they registered a missing report and wasn't aware.
