The couple, who got engaged recently in April, has planned to host a grand reception lunch for their friends and families. An invite of the reception is going viral on social media, which is a unique, simple and elegant card. The reception lunch is organized at Taj Chandigarh, on September 30.

MP Groom Takes Out Wedding On Horse; 100 Policemen For Security Watch
In MP's Sarsi village, a Dalit groom named Rahul Meghwal, on a horse took out the wedding procession under the protection of 100 policemen. "My family was told that if we take out marriage procession and I ride a horse on my wedding, then within one we will have to leave the village," said Meghwal. However, the wedding took place on January 27 as scheduled.

7 Members Involved In Thefts At Marriages Arrested In Delhi
The Delhi police have arrested members of a gang - Band Baaja Baraat - for involving in thefts in and around marriage functions at Delhi-NCR. Reportedly, they have also deployed children from villages into theft and prepared them for the tasks. Police informed that seven members, including two juveniles, have been arrested. They added that with the arrest of the cult, eight theft cases at marriages have resolved.

Indian Wedding Industry Bears Burnt Of Pandemic-induced Lockdowns
The Indian wedding industry is bearing the brunt of the COVID-caused lockdowns. Rajiv Jain, Director of Rashi Entertainment said that the estimated size of the industry is about Rs 3 lakh crore, and appealed the government to use 'four square feet' formula. Another entrepreneur, Anil Thandani, stated that the employees in the industry have turned jobless, and opined that the prospects of weddings taking place sooner are bleak.
