Congress Youth Leader Spends 8-Months In Saudi Arabia Jail, Picture Surfaces Online

A youth Congress leader, Raza Qadri (27), president of Niwari Youth Congress from Madhya Pradesh--who went on a pilgrimage to Mecca, had to spend eight months in Saudi Arabia's jail and was fed only two breads twice a day. He was punished with 99 lashes. All this, only because he got himself clicked-- holding a poster of 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', in front of the Haram Mosque in Mecca.

MP Elections: BJP To Release 5th Candidate List Including 25-30 Sitting MLAs

Ahead of the 2023 Madhya Pradesh elections, the BJP is set to release it's fifth candidate list. Earlier, the party announced 134 list of candidates, and on October 12 will drop 94 remaining final candidates for the elections. As per close BJP sources, 25-30 candidates will be from the sitting MLAs, whereas some will be new faces. Furthermore, a few non performing MLAs will be dropped, as people are unhappy.

Madhya Pradesh: Mother Son Brutally Assaulted, Tortured Over Dog's Death

 In another shocking incident, a group of youths allegedly thrashed and tortured a mother-son duo in the forests of Madhya Pradesh's Rewa district. The youths stripped naked a boy, and brutally beat him, accusing him of killing their dog and dumping its body in a well. A video of the incident from a village near the Semariya police station went viral on social media platform.

Private Bus Falls In Culvert, 25 People Injured: Madhya Pradesh

A private bus fell into a river from a 20-ft high culvert after its tire burst, injuring nearly 25 people, showing how the bus collided with the culvert and then fell into the river.  The incident was caught on the dash cam of another bus coming from behind. The accident took place in Gogawa police station area of Khargone district somewhere between 5 pm to 6 pm, on September 28.

Ujjain Rape Case: Auto Driver Shot By Police While Trying To Escape

In the Ujjain Rape Case, the police arrested an auto-driver, and five others, suspected to be accused. In the latest development, the police shot down the auto-driver, while he was attempting to flee. On September 29, police took the auto-driver, identified as Bharat Soni on spot for inspection, when he tried to escape, leading to an encounter. Soni has been taken to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, investigation is underway.

Madhya Pradesh: Bus Carrying 40 Passengers Overturned, 3 Killed And 8 Injured

Three persons, including bus driver were killed and eight injured after a private bus carrying nearly 40 passengers overturned in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district in the early hours of September 15. The incident occurred near Farnakhedi village, about 80 km from the district headquarters, when the bus going from Indore to Jodhpur flipped at a turn due to heavy rains at around 12. 30 am. A case has been registered.

Rape Convict Gets Relief In Jail Term, Rapes Another Minor In MP

In a heartbreaking incident, a 35-year-old rape convict, allegedly raped a minor, a week after being released from jail. Notably, the accused was identified as Rakesh Verma (35,) who was serving a jail term for raping a minor, but was released earlier amid his good behaviour, but committed the heinous crime again and raped a minor in the Satna region of Madhya Pradesh. The victim is said to be critical and undergoing treatment.

12 Year Old Minor Raped And Bitten Multiple Times, Investigation Underway

In a horrific inicdent, a 12-year-old girl was raped, bitten multiple times and brutalised allegedly by two men working for the trust managing a famous temple. The incident was reported in Maihar town of Satna district in Madhya Pradesh, confirmed police on July 28. The two men, who have been arrested, also allegedly inserted a hard object in her private parts. A case has been registered for further investigation.
