The Delhi High Court has allowed the release of Ranbir Kapoor-starrer film 'Shamshera' on OTT platforms subject to Yash Raj Films depositing Rs. 1 crore with its registry. On August 19, tice Jyoti Singh passed the orders on a lawsuit by Bikramjeet Singh Bhullar alleging infringement of his copyright in the literary work 'Kabu na chhadein Khet' by the filmmakers. However, with fine, the YRF can release it on OTT-platform.

Yash Raj Films officially confirmed on June 20 that the film's release on July 22, only days after the poster for Ranbir Kapoor's Shamshera was leaked online. Bollywood filmmaker Aditya Chopra on June 9 initiated a drive to vaccinate nearly 30,000 workers in the Hindi film industry. Aditya Chopra reveals the new Logo of 'Yash Raj Films' (YRF) on September 27, on the eve of successfully completing 50 years in Bollywood. The launch date also mark the 88th birth anniversary of Late filmmaker and founder of YRF, Yash Chopra. The emblem video comprises of film snippets that YRF has produced, turning into a logo. Akshaye Widhani of YRF thanked everyone for the love and support towards the brand.

Going by reports, Yash Raj Films is planning to launch it's own OTT platform where fans will be able to watch all the YRF films. The sources also hinted that the production house is in talks to announce its own acting school with prominent figures of the industry as faculty. Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff's upcoming remake of Sylvester Stalone's Rambo has got the fans excited. The film will have Tiger Shroff doing what he does best - action. Celebrating the 50 years of Yash Raj Films production house, Aditya Chopra will announce new projects on the occasion of his late father, filmmaker Yash Chopra's 88th birth anniversary on September 27.
