400 Global Faith Leaders From 35 Nations Agree To Support LGBT+ Cause
Nearly 400 global religious leaders from 35 countries appealed to remove the ban imposed on same-sex relations and stop LGBT+ conversion therapy. The leaders from different faith have signed a Ozanne Foundation-funded declaration, which was endorsed by anti-apartheid activist Desmond Tutu and ex-Irish President Mary McAleese among others. The event launched the Global Interfaith Commission on LGBT+ Lives and pledged to stop the violence, discrimination and criminalization against same-sex people in 69 countries.
