Maharashta Govt To Launch Jail Tourism On Republic Day
As an endeavour to facilitate public visits to the state's historically relevant prisons, the Maharashtra government will launch its latest jail tourism initiative on January 26. CM Uddhav Thackeray and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar will inaugurate the jail tourism drive at Pune's Yerawada Central Jail. In light of the coronavirus pandemic, only 50 visitors will be allowed per day.
