Mumbai Is Cocaine Capital Of India, Says Narcotics Control Bureau
With an increase in the number of functional drug cartels across India, Canada, and Australia, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has dubbed Mumbai as the cocaine capital of India. Reportedly, 2,499 kilograms of cocaine seized in Sri Lanka, Port Elizabeth, and Panana were supplied through India. Moreover, 300-kg cocaine which arrived in Mumbai in December 2018 was also transported through a syndicate having links across India, Australia and Canada.
