Jill Scott, England's great midfielder, has announced her retirement from the game after serving the country. Scott leaves on a high note, having won the Women's Euro 2022 championship as the second-most capped English women's footballer, trailing only Fara Williams, her former colleague. She played in 161 matches for her country, scoring 27 goals. Scott has also represented the Lionesses in the previous four FIFA World Cups.
