300 Families In Afghanistan Receive Food Assistance Packages: Afghan Food Crisis
As many as 300 families received food assistance on December 7, amid the ongoing food crisis in Afghanistan's Ghazni under the Taliban regime. Xinhua reported that 50 kg rice, 7 kg sugar, 7 kg beans, 5 liters of cooking oil, and 1 kg tea were included in the package. Besides, 8.7 million people are reportedly close to famine in the country.
