3,000 School Staff Protests Over Govt's Fee Concession Order In B'luru
Over 3,000 teachers and auxiliary private school staff across Karnataka marched from Bengaluru Railway Station to Freedom Park, protesting the government's decision to slash tuition fees by 70%. Protesters included drivers, attenders, security staff and management faculty. Uniting under the Karnataka Private School Management, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff Co-ordination Committee, 10 private school organizations demanded revocation of the fee concession order. Additionally, the associations have called for prompt issuance of teacher's grants.
