45th GST Council Meeting To Discuss Several Controversial Agendas

After 20 months, the 45th GST Council Meeting is to be chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Lucknow on September 17. The meeting will witness representatives of the center and finance ministers of states. The agenda for the meeting is the reduction of taxes on COVID-19 medicines, to bring petro and diesel under GST regulation, GST on food delivery services, and shortfall in compensation to states during Covid times.
