Andhra Govt Postpones Intermediate Exams On HC's Direction

Adhering to the directives of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, the state government on May 2 postponed Intermediate examination. Earlier, a petition filed in the court had stated that the exams, originally scheduled from May 5, would make around 17 lakh students susceptible to the COVID-19. Meanwhile, State Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh said, "The new dates for conducting inter-examinations will be announced as soon as the pandemic eases."
