Assam Floods: IAF, BSF, CRPF, NDRF, SDRF Carry Out Rescue Operations In Cachar
The flood situation in Assam's Cachar worsened, due to which, Indian Army, Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Relief Fund (SDRF) carried out rescue operations. On June 20, over 3,000 persons including children, pregnant, etc, were rescued by the teams. Assam CM Himanta Sarma said that the Indian Air Force carried one lakh litre petrol and diesel to Cachar.
