Bihar Govt To Give Rs 2 Lakh Aid For Kin Of Who Died In UK Rain

In the latest development, Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar on October 23 announced that his government will provide the compensation of Rs 2 lakh each for the families of Bihar who died in the recent Uttarakhand rains. Reportedly, 10 people from Bihar's West Champaran district lost their lives in the rains. While announcing the compensation, Kumar said, ''The resident commissioner is in constant touch with the state government.''
