CAIT Claims Farmers' Protests Caused Rs 50,000 Cr Loss To Business
Confederation of All India Traders announced that the farmers' protest in Delhi-NCR had attracted a business loss of Rs 50,000 crore. Promoting Centre’s recent proposal to defer the laws for 1.5 years, the CAIT Secretary-General Praveen Khandelwal said farmers avoiding the proposal would be understood as backed by divisive forces. Asking traders to be served in the Supreme Court-proposed committee, Khandelwal stated no traders' representation would make an effort futile.
