Employees Vandalise iPhone Plant In Karnataka Over Salary Issue
An iPhone manufacturing plant in Karnataka's Kolar district was wrecked on December 12 by its own employees who were disgruntled over salary-related issues. The plant, managed by Taiwan's Wistron Corporation, had around 2000 employees at the plant during the incident. Police have detained 132 employees in connection with the case. Reportedly, the employees destroyed company's property and tried to burn vehicles. However, Wistron has not released a statement yet.
