FB Blocks Account Of Ex-Sahitya Akademi Secretary Over 'Anti-BJP' Content

Social media giant Facebook on May 8 restricted the account of former Sahitya Akademi secretary and well-known Kerala poet Satchidanandan for trying to post an anti-BJP content. Reportedly, the account was suspended for 24 hours and was restored late on May 8. Additionally, Facebook has barred him from going live for 30 days. "Twelve years of poetry and protest can hardly be erased by twenty-four hours of silence," Satchidanandan stated.
