Goa Govt. Allows To Reopen Casinos From Nov 1; 50% Occupancy Permitted
Inching towards normalcy, the Goa Government on October 28 announced that the Casinos in the state can restart operations from November 1. The government has directed the casinos to follow the Standard Operating Procedures and has limited the occupancy to 50%. While making the announcement, the Goa CM added, the casinos will have to pay the license fees before they restart services. Reportedly, the state hosts six offshore casinos and 12 onshore casinos.
