Google Doodle Celebrates B'day Of 'India's Satellite Man' Ramchandra Rao
On the 89th birth anniversary of Indian professor and space scientist Udupi Ramchandra Rao, Google has dedicated a doodle to him. The doodle features Rao's sketch with a globe and shooting stars. Known as "India's Satellite Man", Rao was the chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation. Notably, the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), which has transported over 250 satellite, was developed by Rao. He also supervised India's first satellite Aryabhata’s launch in 1975.
