Meghalaya To Resume Tourism From December 21; E-Invite Required
To mark the re-open of the pandemic-ridden tourism sector in Meghalaya, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, tweeted, "The #HomeOfClouds looks forward to welcoming you." Reportedly, the state will be open for tourists from December 21. According to the Meghalaya Tourism Department, all visitors must register on the Meghalaya Tourism app to generate E-invite and should strictly adhere to guidelines. Additionally, a COVID-19 negative report has been made mandatory for the tourists.
