Mumbai Indians Defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad; Quinton De Kock Shines
Defending IPL Champion Mumbai Indians had a perfect Sunday, beating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 34 runs. With wicket-keeper Quinton de Kock back in form, Mumbai can cheer more. He scored 67 off just 39 balls, and gave Mumbai a decent start to put a huge total of 208 runs. Batting first, Mumbai lost the wicket of skipper Rohit in first over itself, but de Kock made two important partnerships with Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan to keep Mumbai in momentum. The top-4 batsmen of Mumbai were back in Pavillion at a score of 147 in 15 overs. With 6 wickets in hands, Hardik Pandya, Keiron Pollard, and Krunal Pandya grabbed the opportunity and scored explosively in last 5 overs at batting paradise, Sharjah. In return, Sunrisers could not handle the pressure of this massive total. Though Sunrisers had a satisfying start with Warner trying to swing the match till last, they could not capitalize it. MI won by 34 runs.
