Nagaland’s Hornbill Festival To Be Held Virtually Amid Pandemic
Due to the ongoing pandemic, Nagaland's popular Hornbill Festival, scheduled annually from December 1 to 10, will be conducted virtually this year. The opposition party, Naga People's Front (NPF) criticised the government saying, due to the growing COVID cases day by day, the decision to celebrate the Hornbill Festival is nothing but “suicide mission”. Further the NPF questioned the state government regarding the safety of participants and tourists who may visit during the time.
