NIA Takes Over Investigation Into Udaipur Beheading Case In Rajasthan

The investigation involving the decapitation of shopkeeper Kanhaiya Lal in Rajasthan's Udaipur has been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). NIA then filed an FIR and began interviewing the two suspects with Rajasthan Police SIT. Meanwhile, a curfew was in effect throughout Udaipur, and internet services were also banned following the heinous murder. However, a large crowd poured onto Udaipur's streets to participate in the victim's funeral procession.
