"Noise of Silence" First Bollywood Movie Based on NRC, Ready to Release on OTT

"Noise of Silence", a Bollywood film based on the National Register of Citizens (NRC) is set to hit the OTT platforms before 2020 ends. The movie is directed by Saif Baidya and produced by Vinay G Rai. Based on true events, the film has been shot in Tripura an portrays the sufferings of lakhs of Assamese, who tried to prove their roots as their names were off the citizen's list when NRC was imposed.
