SC Agrees To Hear Plea Filed Against Ban On BBC Documentary On PM Modi

The Supreme Court (SC) on January 30, agreed to hear the plea challenging the ban on the BBC documentary on PM Modi. Advocate ML Sharma has filed the petition calling the ban on 'India: The Modi Question' malafide, arbitrary and unconstitutional. Taking note of the filed pleas, the SC bench listed the matter on February 6. Notably, Central Government directed to ban of the controversial documentary in India.
