US University Suggests COVID-19 As Seasonal In Nature
Chicago’s University of Illinois, in its study, has held that COVID-19 is seasonal in nature. Analysing the epidemiological data from 221 countries, the study revealed a strong correlation between temperature and incidence, mortality, recovery and active cases. Moreover, while the temperature and latitude showed a significant correlation, longitude and climate variations did not show mutuality to support the hypothesis. However, the study indicated that there is no inter-relationship between virus mutation and temperature or latitude.
