The Varanasi Court is scheduled to pronounce a verdict in the Gyanvapi Case, on September 12. In view of the awaited and controversial verdict, the district police have imposed section 144 of the CrPC, restricting any religious, or political gathering in Varanasi. A single-bench judge AK Vishwesh will pronounce the verdict, which was reserved in the last hearing, reviewing a woman's plea, seeking permission to worship diety in Gyanvapi mosque.
