Vegan Diet Is Better For Weight Loss Than Mediterranean Diet: Study
The American College of Nutrition has suggested that a vegan diet is more effective in weight loss and cholesterol control than a Mediterranean diet. It conducted a research and revealed that low-fat vegan diet has better results for weight, insulin sensitivity, body composition and cholesterol levels. During the 16-week-long research, people having Mediterranean diet - low-fat dairy product, extra-virgin olive oil, vegetables and legumes - did not show any weight loss while Vegan did.
