Maharashtra: DCM Ajit Pawar Tests Positive For COVID-19

The Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar tested positive for COVID-19 on October 26. Earlier, the 61-year-old had tested negative for the virus after visiting the rain-affected areas of Pune and Solapur. Pawar in his tweet mentioned that he is maintaining stable health and was admitted at Mumbai's Breach Candy for doctor's advice. Recently, former CM of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis also tested positive for COVID-19.

Pune To Start 'Molecular Testing' for COVID-19, Will Deliver Results in 13 Minutes

In a first-of-its-kind, Pune will start using 'molecular testing' device for COVID-19, which is expected to deliver positive results in about five minutes and negative results in 13 minutes. The device has already obtained approval from both US Food and Drug Administration and Drug Controller General of India.
