Rahul Gandhi Attacks PM Modi Govt Over Chinese Map Including Arunachal Pradesh
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched an attack on the Narendra Modi government, over the China releasing new standard map, including part of Arunachal Pradesh. Gandhi claimed that all of Ladakh knows that China has encroached on its land and that the Prime Minister should speak on it. Rahul said that he had returned from Ladakh and hence knows about the issue. Rahul Gandhi was in Ladakh and returned on August 29.

China Releases Official Standard Map 2023 Edition, Includes Dispute Arunachal Pradesh
China officially released the 2023 edition of its "standard map" incorporating the disputed areas including its claims over Arunachal Pradesh, Aksai Chin region, Taiwan and the disputed South China Sea. India has repeatedly said that the state of Arunachal Pradesh has "always been" and will "always be" an integral part of the country. Released on August 28, the standard map is said to be compiled of all boundaries china share.

Indian Army Cheetah Helicopter Crashes In Arunachal Pradesh
An Indian Army Cheetah Helicopter crashed near Mandala, Arunachal Pradesh, on March 16. The helicopter was performing an operational sortie near Bomdila, when it was reported to have lost contact with the air traffic control (ATC.) Search parties have been organied, and operations are underway to look for the crew in the helicopter. Furthermore, this is not the first time such tragic crash was reported in AP.

IAF Cheetah Helicopter Crashes In Arunachal Pradesh, 1 Pilot Died
A pilot lost his life after an Indian Army Cheetah helicopter crashed in the Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh near the boundary with China, confirmed defence spokesperson Col AS Walia. As per PTI, according to Walia, the incident happened around 10:00 am during a routine sortie in a forward area. Two pilots were onboard, one died and another is undergoing treatment. Moreover, cause of the crash is unknow, details awaited.

Four Rescued Bear Cubs To Be Released In Pakke Tiger Reserve: Arunachal Pradesh
Four rescued bear cubs will soon be released in Arunachal Pradesh’s Pakke Tiger Reserve (PTR). The bears include a five-month-old Siyang, and three of her peers. Notably, the acclimatisation process has been completed under the supervision of experts over the past few weeks. Siyang was rescued by local environmentalists when it was just a month old. It was then brought to Bear Rehabilitation and Conservation (CBRC), where it was nursed.

Woman Arrested For Child Trafficking In Arunachal Pradesh’s Itanagar; 4-Month-Old Baby Rescued
In Arunachal Pradesh’s Itanagar, the police along with ChildLine service, arrested a woman for her alleged involvement in child trafficking. The police also rescued a 4-month-old infant from her. The woman has been identified as Anu Wangsa, who was also in the year 2021, on charges of drug possession. The arrest has come after receiving complaint from a female drug addict.

Arunachal Mountaineer Missing Since 7 Days; Rescue Operation Paused Due To Bad Weather
Mountaineer Tapi Mra and his assistant Niku Dao have reported gone missing for the past seven days during an expedition trip Mount Khyarisattam. Mra is reportedly the first person from Arunachal Pradesh to scale the mighty Mount Everest. Sports and Youth Affairs minister Mama Natung said that a search and rescue operation which was initiated using Indian Army choppers had been paused due to bad weather.
