A video has gone viral on social media, where a Mexican-American woman can be seen verbally abusing Indian women in Dallas, Texas. The woman, identified as Esmeralda Upton, has been arrested for her verbal assault of Indian woman in a parking lot. The aggressor also tried to smack the victims, who were recording the incident. Meanwhile, Indian-American bodies have condemned the aforementioned hate crime.

Excluding Shooting From Commonwealth Games Will Impact India's Medals: Jaspal Rana
Removing shooting from the Commonwealth Games 2022 will hurt India's winning chances, said 2002 gold medalist Japal Rana. Rued about the exclusion of shooting in CWG, Rana said, "It was not a priority sport for the organisers so they have excluded it. They have removed it so as to impact India’s medals tally. That is how they can manipulate the tally count". CWG is beginning on July 28-August 8.

LPG Gas Cylinder Prices Hikes Again By Rs 50 In India, 8th Time In Year
Cooking gas LPG prices hiked for the fourth time since the Ukraine-Russia war, on July 6. The new prices with an increase of Rs 50 are at Rs 1,053 for non-subsidised LPG gas. In the past one year, this is the eighth hike in prices, taking the total rise to Rs 244, or 30%. However, poor beneficiaries under Ujjwala connection will not pay the non-subsidized LPG prices.

Amarnath Pilgrimage Registration Begins From April 11, Yatra In June
The Amarnath Yatra, which is scheduled from June 30, started its registration. Devotees can register themselves at 316 branches of Punjab National Bank across India. Registration this year is for Rs 120 per person. However, those who registered last year, need to pay Rs 20 extra. In addition, people below 13-year-old and above 75-year-old are not eligible for the Amarnath Yatra, which will commence on August 11.
