Xi Jinping Marks His First Official Visit To Tibet As President
China's President Xi Jinping became the first Chinese leader in many years to visit Tibet and other Southeastern border regions with India. In its official visit Jinping reportedly drove to the Nyang bridge of the Yarlung Zangbo River and Nyingchi town and inspected the newly built Sichuan-Tibet first fast train line in Tibet. His last visit to the Tibet Autonomous Region was in 2011 when he was China’s vice president.

Punjab Cops Arrest YouTuber For Making Racist Remarks On Arunachal MLA
Punjab-based 21-year-old YouTuber Paras Singh was arrested in Ludhiana over his alleged racist remarks on Arunachal Pradesh MLA Ninong Ering. In a social media post, Paras represented Ering as a 'non-Indian' and claimed Arunachal Pradesh 'a part of China'. Tashi Yangjom Becomes First Indian Woman To Scale Mount Everest In 2021
Tashi Yangjom, a woman from Arunachal Pradesh became the first Indian woman to climb Mount Everest in 2021, reached the peak on May 11 at 6AM. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, the state Governor BD Mishra, and CM Pema Khandu congratulated her on the achievement. The 37-year-old was an instructor at the National Institute of Mountaineering & Allied Sports (NIMAS) in Dirang.

China Approves Major Hydropower Dam Project Near Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal: China Encroaches Indian Territory By Building Village
Satellite images show that China has built a village on disputed land in Arunachal Pradesh.
