The Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has launched the Rajasthan Rural Tourism Scheme to promote tourism in rural areas. In addition, the tourism sector has been allocated a fund of Rs 1,000 crore. After witnessing a sudden spike in COVID-19 cases, the Rajasthan government has decided to impose a fine of Rs 25,000 if the number of people attending a wedding crosses 100. It stated the wedding organisers' must ensure that number of attendees does not go beyond 100. Earlier, the government increased the amount of fine for not wearing masks from Rs 200 to Rs 500, while imposing a nigh-curfew in eight districts.

Citing the life-threatening COVID-19 situations, the Rajasthan government on November 2 prohibited the sale of firecrackers and directed to limit their use. The state CM Ashok Gehlot said, "Strict measures have been taken to forbid the distribution of fireworks in the province and limit travel of automobiles having defects." There has been a significant rise in air pollution levels across the northern states of the country.

Bahujan Samaj Party chief, Mayawati has raised doubts over the settling of the Rajasthan political crises, saying there are chances of future conflicts between former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot and CM Ashok Gehlot. "BSP wants to say that the long due internal conflict between these two has affected works of public welfare in the state," she said, adding the Government should focus on its people during a pandemic.
