In Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli, another incident of caste-based violence went viral on social media platforms. In the video, a minor Dalit boy was being assaulted and forced to lick the feet of the accused. In the two-minute-thirty-second video, the accused on a motorbike was asking the victim to say "Thakur" and said, "Will you make such a mistake again?" In a spine-chilling incident, a Thomas (38) threw boiling cooking oil on his wife and 13-year-old daughter, in Bengaluru. The accused fled soon after some neighbors intervened. As per reports, He heated some cooking oil in the kitchen and assaulted his wife with a wooden piece. As she fell unconscious, he poured the oil on her. Nancy rushed to her mother’s rescue and Thomas poured oil on her as well.
