Kannada Actor Chetan Kumar Arrested For Objectionable Comments

South Indian actor Chetan Kumar got into trouble for his tweet, claimed to be objectionable against the Hindutva in India. The actor was arrested on March 21, confirmed the Sheshadripuram police, which registered a case against Chetan. Notably, the tweet of Chetan, saying Hindutva is built on lies, hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus, following which a case was filed by a pro-Hindu organisation.

Air Hostess Dies After Falling From Building, Boyfriend Detained: Bengaluru

In a tragic incident, an Himachal Pradesh-based air hostess died after falling from a building in Bengaluru's Kormangla region. The incident reported on March 13, following which the City police detained the victim's boyfriend. As per initial investigation, 28-year-old was found dead near a high-rise building and arrived in Bengaluru from Dubai, to meet her boyfriend. They had a fight, following which she allegedly fell from building.

Bengaluru Woman Throws 4 Year Old Daughter From Her 4th Floor Balcony, Arrested

In Bengaluru, a woman allegedly threw hearing-speech impaired daughter (4) from their fourth-floor-apartment balcony in SR Nagar. The CCTV footage of the incident shows the woman throwing her child, who died on the spot, following which the woman climbed on the railings and stood for a few seconds when her family members rushed out and pulled her back. As per the FIR by the husband, the woman has been arrested.

Siddhanth Kapoor Gets Bail After Arrest In Drug Case: Bengaluru

Shakti Kapoor's son Siddhanth Kapoor has been released on station bail, confirmed police on June 14.  Kapoor was arrested from Bengaluru for allegedly ingesting narcotics at a party on June 12.  Police investigated a hotel on MG Road after receiving a tip and conducted a narcotics test on 35 suspected. Six samples, including Siddhanth, were found positive. Although released on bail, Siddhanth needs to appear before the court, when called.

2 Die, 4 Injured Due To Fire In A Private Apartment: Bengaluru

In a shocking incident, two people burned to death and four suffered injuries due to a fire in a private apartment near Bengaluru's Devarachikkanahalli on September 21. According to the DGP & DG Fire & Emergency Services Karnataka, the fire tenders reached the spot at 4:55 PM and evacuated the entire apartment. The search operation is underway but preliminary evidence suggests that domestic gas leakage has caused the fire.

Bengaluru: One More Drug Peddler Arrested In Sandalwood Case

In the ongoing Sandalwood drug probe, one more alleged drug peddler has been arrested. The Central Crime Branch had arrested the accused, Ashwin Bhogi, from Chikkamagaluru district. Reportedly, Ashwin, who was on the run since the probe began, was brought to Bengaluru on October 13, where he was sent to the police custody for seven days. Earlier, a previously arrested accused, Ravi Shankar, had informed the police about Ashwin.

The Bengaluru Police have arrested an accused who used to steal money from the store he was working in. Reportedly, the accused, Tejas S, had stolen around Rs 4.3 lakh while working as a cashier in the store. The crime surfaced when the store underwent audit exercise and found discrepancies in sales' records. However, it was revealed later that Tejas had lost all the money stolen in the share market already.
