UP Bride Calls Off Marriage Citing Groom Couldn't Read Without Spectacles

A bride in UP's Auraiya district has called off her marriage because the groom couldn't read the newspaper without spectacles. The incident happened on the day of marriage when the bride along with other women asked the man to read a newspaper as a test. However, the marriage was canceled on failing the test. Besides, an FIR has also been lodged after the groom's family refused to return the dowry.

Kanpur Man Married To Transgender, Accuses In-Laws Of Cheating

A resident of Shastri Nagar in Kanpur has logged an FIR under Section 420 of IPC against his wife and in-laws. Reportedly, both of them had married on April 28, however, she was refusing to establish a physical relationship for a long-time. Finally, the man took his wife to a "gynecologist" who confirmed her to be a "transgender''. Besides, the Investigations are underway, said the police.

Bride Walks Away From Mandap As Groom Did Not Know Table Of 2

In an extremely offbeat incident, a groom from UP's Mahoba district was rejected at the mandap after he failed to recite the table of 2 when asked by the bride. Already suspicious of the man's qualifications, the bride called off the wedding accusing the groom's family of hiding his education. Reportedly, the arrange marriage was called off and both the parties settled the matter by returning their gifts and jewellery.
