Chandryaan-3, India's third Moon mission, which took off from Indian Space Research Organisation's Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDCC) in Andhra Pradesh’s Sriharikota on July 14, is scheduled for its soft-landing on the lunar surface on August 23. Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Department of Atomic energy, and Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh said that "Chandrayaan-3" will mostly be launched in 2022. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has postponed its first human space mission ‘Gaganyaan’ by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While the first manned-mission has been planned in December 2021, ISRO had scheduled two unmanned flights in December 2020 and July 2021. However, ISRO Chairman K.Sivan said that the launch might be rescheduled to 2021 or 2022. Moreover, he added Chandrayaan-3 project is in development.
