Fire Leaves Two Severely Injured In Maharashtra's Pune

Two people sustained severe burn injuries after a fire broke out in a Chemical Storage Facility located in the outskirts of Pune on the night of August 7. The fire also left a few vehicles and bushes outside the facility gutted. The fire was extinguished by the Pune fire department, with assistance from the "PMRDA". The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

Residents in Maharashtra's Thane district complained of breathing problems after a gas leak occurred at a chemical factory in Badlapur on June 3. 11 Hurt As Massive Explosion Rattles Hyderabad Chemical Factory

A massive explosion occurred on December 12 at Vindhya Organics, a chemical factory in Hyderabad’s Bollarum area, injuring over dozens of people. While 11 workers were rushed to a hospital, many are still believed to be trapped inside. “The fire erupted in the factory supposedly due to the explosion of a reactor," informed V Srinivas. Four fire engines had reached the spot to douse the fire.
