Manipur Violence: CM Biren Singh To Meet State Governor At 3 PM
Amid the rumours of resignation, Manipur CM is scheduled to meet the State Governor on June 30, 3:00 P.M. Notably, the planned meeting came amid the ongoing violence between ethnic groups, resulting in a deadly protest-like situation in Manipur. Manipur CM N Biren Singh will meet Governor Anusuiya Uikey and is expected to hand over his resignation to the Governor. However, an official announcement on the matter is awaited.

Agitated Mob Vandalized Sports Complex Set For Inaugural: Manipur
An unruly mob vandalised and set on fire the venue where CM N Biren Singh is scheduled to attend a programme, at New Lamka in Churachandpur district. Local police quickly swung into action and dispersed the mob but not before the venue was damaged with hundreds of burning chairs. BJP Elects N Biren Singh As Manipur CM For 2nd Term
N Biren Singh has been named as the BJP CM of Manipur, for a second term. On March 20, unanimously. Union FM Nirmala Sitharaman visited Manipur, on behalf of the Central Government and ensured stable government under the leadership of the BJP. "It is a good decision taken unanimously by everyone," said Sitharaman. Notably, the BJP won Manipur Assembly elections 2022 by winning 32 of 60 Assembly seats.
